Miller-Remick provided engineering design services for new naval electronics testing lab. The project created a facility for the Navy to provide additional electronics testing laboratories, integrated testing control room, briefing room, and support rooms. Two additional spaces created an environment that replicates actual ship conditions to enhance testing effectiveness and simulate real life conditions. The entire facility has an independent HVAC system with DDC controls tied into existing systems. Due to the high laboratory energy loads, all of the labs and the control room were outfitted with individual supplemental cooling units.
