Miller-Remick provided engineering and construction management services for the complete retrofit of a central boiler plant for the New Jersey Department of Corrections at the Albert C. Wagner Correctional Facility. Design involved demolition of the existing plant and required installation of temporary boilers during construction. Three 800 hp fire-tube boilers were installed complete with all auxiliaries, new piping, electrical and controls. The building also required extensive structural modifications.
