Woodbury, NJ | Miller-Remick provided design engineering and construction management services for a 180,000 SF renovation and expansion of the Justice Complex. This included state-of-the-art HVAC, lighting and controls, and vertical transport consisting of 9 new elevators and 3 re-conditioned elevators. M-R performed detailed HVAC system energy modeling for the entire complex, and provided an assessment of feasible energy conservation measures, including solar array evaluation. The energy conservation measures (ECM’s) for the HVAC systems were approved, and provided design services for the integration of the ECM’s into the facility design. Our services included HVAC, controls, plumbing, fire protection and electrical engineering.
