Mill Creek Mall Photovoltaic Design, Sports Authority & T.J. Maxx

Miller-Remick provided engineering services for a roof-mounted, PV installation at the Sports Authority and T.J. Maxx locations of the Mill Creek Mall in Secaucus, NJ. The Sports Authority building consisted of a 347.2 KW system while the T.J. Maxx building was a 159 KW system. Both included integration into the existing electrical system and a structural evaluation. Our services included installation details for both solar array systems, conductor calculation sizing, shading analysis, site investigation of existing conditions for interface with existing infrastructure, permitting, and construction administration. Coordination and permit submission to the local utility / code officials was performed. M-R also provided construction phase and close-out services to assure appropriate commissioning of the system.
